What are Giclee prints?

About the Giclee' process; The word giclee is a french term meaning "to spray". The Giclee process offers the latest technology in Fine Art reproduction.
Advances include the use of pigment based inks sprayed on by a large, high quality printer. The pigment based inks are permanent and estimated to retain color stability for an indefinite period beyond 100 years (if the print is given the normal care for artwork; which means protection from excessive moisture and light).
By utilizing 100% rag paper the print maintains archival quality. The digital process refines the reproduction quality giving the print a brilliance and color accuracy unmatched by previous methods. The superb quality of the process by my printer Bob Lizza at www.lizzafineart.com makes it possible for super large giclee prints of any of my images. Please inquire about a custom size.
